About kostume karaoke
Founded in 2004, Kostume Karaoke has been serving karaoke with a twist to the DMV for over 15 years!
Founded by Debbi Arsenaux, Kostume Karaoke has been a DC establishment, with regular events held at some of DCs best bars.
KK was run by Debbi and Libby Sinback until 2011, when Aubri O’Connor took over. We are proud to be a woman owned and run business, and we strive to hire marginalized genders and races as our KJs.
Our current KJs are
Aubri O’Connor
Keshav Swaminathan
Allen “Ace” Eldridge
Kostume Karaoke is a proud partner of RevEx Productions, and a big fan of District Karaoke.
THE RULES OF KOSTUME KARAOKE
1: You MUST use a microphone cover when singing
2: Your song will come up in a fair order - no stacking songs.
3: Take care of the equipment. Don’t spill drinks on the costumes, don’t mic drop, and don’t steal or deface the supplies.
4: NO BOOING. All voices are welcome. We support each other at Kostume Karaoke.
5: Tip your KJ and your bartender - karaoke may be free, but rent isn’t
6: We encourage bringing your own, or wearing one of our costumes!
7: Be kind to the costumes. We want them to last more than a night.
